There is a lot more to Las Vegas than "Glamor and Glitz" Just outside of Summerlin you will find Red Rock National park, (which is directly west of the Red Rock Casino and Hotel) you can't really ride dirt bikes there, but there are countless numbers of trails in any direction away from the city. If you're on the strip and you want to find a good place to ride, just pick a point on the horizon and go there... you'll find some dirt to play around on. This picture happens to be just outside of Blue Diamond.
Highly recommended for a breath of fresh air away from the Las Vegas Strip. And the only money you'll lose here will be what you spend for a rental on a bike. But then again that's not much of a loss. But rather a guaranteed good time with great scenery. If you don't already have family in town with gear you may try Motorcycle Rentals
