How cool would it be to have this guys job! But really, I knew our local news channel (Fox 5 News) was a little goofy but I had no idea that  Stefanie Jay drove the turtle wagon around looking for a good story & chasing the bad-guys around Las Vegas Singing The Ninja Turtles Theme Song:

What to do in The "Dirty" Desert?

There is a lot more to Las Vegas than "Glamor and Glitz"  Just outside of Summerlin you will find Red Rock National park, (which is directly west of the Red Rock Casino and Hotel)  you can't really ride dirt bikes there, but there are countless numbers of trails in any direction away from the city. If you're on the strip and you want to find a good place to ride, just pick a point on the horizon and go there... you'll find some dirt to play around on.  This picture happens to be just outside of Blue Diamond.

Highly recommended for a breath of fresh air away from the Las Vegas Strip.  And the only money you'll lose here will be what you spend for a rental on a bike.  But then again that's not much of a loss.  But rather a guaranteed good time with great scenery. Las Vegas Style Barbi & Teen Pregnancy...

I was shopping the other night with my kids at Target when came upon this silly clad Barbie Classic Doll... It made me think "what the heck are we teaching our children these days?"  Barbie Company is already brainwashing (and has been for years) our children that "Barbie" has the perfect body and that's what girls should look like when they grow up. It all begins when they are young.  Ever wonder why there are more of our kids are getting pregnant these days.

Of course we cannot really hold Barbie responsible for any of these stats. It's pretty much all goes back to how the parents raise the kids.  But it bugs me when toy companies make toys like this one which belongs in a Las Vegas Strip Club.

Storm Trooper...

Just in case you lose your way around the Las Vegas strip when you are around harmon and las vegas blvd. near the Harley Davidson Cafe... you could always ask the closest storm trooper for directions.  Some people are just weird you know?  Look at all those people walking around the face of the planet without a storm trooper outfit on!

Mr Miyagi the Security Gaurd in Las Vegas

Mr Miyagi???

Well here is a picture of me with an incredible Mr. Miyagi lookalike as a security guard in an casino in old downtown Las Vegas.

 So when I got home I did a little googleing online to see what I could see about this Mr. Miyagi Karate Master. This is what I came up with.

Mr. Miyagi became famous in Karate Kid movie because of his superior chopstick skills.

 

After his success with Karate Kid, he expanded the horizons of his acting career by taking a crucial role in Karate Kid II.

Then maybe he came to Las Vegas to party....

And now he may be working as a security guard at a hotel in Old Down Town Las Vegas. Or at least his lookalike is working there for sure. Check me out, I got a picture with him! Let me know if you want to know what hotel he works at if you want a picture.

The Oscar Meyer Wiener

 Its here in vegas today!. How would you like to have this guys job? What do you do for a living? "Yes I drive the wiener" -  or on the 15 here in Vegas traffic. "yeah, honey I'll be home in an hour, I'm on the 15 and I'm stuck behind a giant wiener going 15mph"  Wish I were an Oscar Meyer wiener!
