Las Vegas Wedding Chapel Always and Forever!

One day I ran into this shop and couldn't believe my eyes.  If Kip and Lafawnda didn't live in Idaho I bet you they would have got married here.

Only in Las Vegas will you find a man in his mid 40's riding the streets on a modified big wheel.  What is with some of the people here?

Weekend in Vegas | Good weekend in vegas..... Bad weekend in vegas... ???

Ok, I work with this guy and his hair didn't look like this on the Friday before he came in.... Either he had a really good weekend, or a really bad weekend.  For the record, the following Tuesday his head was shaved.  Guess it didn't fly with the boss.

Cover the earth???

I couldn't help but laugh at this one when I saw it while driving to work. It's a pretty horrible marketing idea in my opinion. Sherman Williams pain, if you couldn't tell. I never really realized that their logo was a bucket of paint spilling over the earth like a giant oil spill killing everything in it's path.  Well thank you Las Vegas Traffic for slowing me down enough to recognize that we don't need to worry about a nuclear warfare bringing the end to our wonderful world, Sherman Williams is planning their attack with billions of buckets of paint.

For the record their logo does have a meaning... according to their website:

Our historical logo is one of the most recognized company logos in existence. Created in the late 1800s, the logo’s purpose was to represent the company’s desire to help beautify and protect the buildings of the world. It was a symbol of a young company’s enthusiasm, idealism and hope regarding its future and the possibility for achievement that hovered on the nation’s horizon.

Very quickly, our “Cover the Earth” logo became a figurative emblem signifying quality, integrity and service รข€” the very same things it stands for today.

Sin City

Take a good look, this is the only time you'll ever see clouds here in Las Vegas.  It must be a sign that the end of the world is coming soon.  But seriously, I think Al Gore was right

And of course the global warming stuff.  That's why you saw clouds in the sky today.

About: Faces of Las Vegas

My name is Ben and I've lived in Las Vegas for only 2 years.  I'm a sales representative for a local business here in Las Vegas. Every day... all day, I drive around Las Vegas looking for businesses that need my companies services.  I visit every casino, restaurant, hotel or any other local business at least once every two years.  Sounds boring, but really it's not that bad.  In fact one of the things that has made my job so interesting is seeing the weird things, people, places, animals, graffiti, billboards, and pretty much everything else abnormal that you would find in a larger metropolis such as Las Vegas.

Because I'm relatively new to Vegas, most things I see are weird to me.  I started taking pictures of each things that I thought were interesting.  Thought it'd be a good idea to make a blog about them, featuring these pictures I take.  From the good, bad, happy, sad, pretty, ugly and everything else in between. If you're face ends up on here... hope you don't mind on one hand, and congratulations on the other!

Enjoy the Faces of Las Vegas!
